Proof of delivery in four taps
Photo, signature, name, submit. The POD is GPS-stamped and synced to dispatch, or saved on the phone until signal returns, before the driver is back in the truck.

Why paper PODs hurt cash flow
Drivers lose slips, photos are blurry WhatsApp images nobody can find, and clients dispute deliveries you cannot prove.
- Lost paperwork
- Slips go missing between the truck and the office. By the time you need them, they are gone.
- Blurry photos
- WhatsApp photos taken in bad light, out of focus, with no way to match them to a delivery.
- Client disputes
- “We never received that.” Without proof, you carry the cost.
Four taps at every drop
The driver arrives, opens the delivery and follows four steps. The POD is captured, checked, GPS-stamped and synced automatically.
- 1Take the photoThe camera opens with a guide overlay. The photo is checked for blur, glare and darkness before it is accepted.
- 2Get the signatureThe receiver signs on a full-screen canvas with their finger.
- 3Enter the nameThe driver types who signed and can add notes. Photo and signature show as confirmed.
- 4SubmitThe POD uploads with GPS coordinates and a timestamp, and the delivery is marked done.
Everything a driver needs, nothing they don’t
Drivers log in to today’s deliveries: active at the top, completed at the bottom, with counts for remaining, completed and total. Colour-coded status badges, cash-on-delivery amounts highlighted, and an offline banner showing how many items are waiting to sync.
Tapping a delivery shows the address, contact, special instructions in amber, parcel count and COD amount on one screen, with one-tap navigation, a call button, and buttons to upload the POD or report a problem.
No more useless POD photos
Every photo goes through five checks before it is accepted. A bad photo is rejected straight away, with a clear reason.

Works offline, keeps drivers safe
No signal on a rural route? The app queues everything on the phone and syncs when coverage returns.
- Offline POD capture
- Photos, signatures and GPS data are saved on the phone and retried automatically until they sync.
- GPS on everything
- Every POD and status change carries coordinates, so you know where it happened.
- Navigation in one tap
- Opens the delivery address in Google Maps. No typing while parked on a verge.
- One-tap calling
- Tap the number on any delivery to call the customer without switching apps.
- Secure login
- Login tokens are kept in the phone’s encrypted storage, and sessions expire automatically.
Problems happen. Report them in one tap.
Dispatch is notified with the reason, the time and the GPS location.
- Customer not there
- Logged with a timestamp, so you can prove the delivery attempt.
- Wrong address
- GPS is captured to show the driver was there.
- Goods damaged
- Raised as a high-severity exception so dispatch can act quickly.
The driver taps “Delivered”. Then the automations take over.
When a POD is submitted, Tapnet receives it and can trigger a chain of actions without anyone in the office touching it.
WhatsApp the client (“Your delivery has arrived. Signed by John M. at 14:23.”) with the POD photo. Email a confirmation with photo, signature, GPS and timestamp. Generate the invoice from the client’s rate card. Post to your team’s Slack channel. Update a Google Sheet for clients who keep their own tracking. And if the driver reports a problem instead, alert the ops manager and log a high-priority ticket.
Before
The slip comes back at the end of the day. Admin captures it, then someone types the invoice.
With Tapnet
The POD arrives with the evidence attached, the client is told, and the invoice is ready to send.
Driver app questions
What happens when a driver has no signal?
The app keeps working. The manifest, photos and signature are saved on the phone and sync automatically when the signal comes back.
What does the driver app cost?
On Starter it is R200 per driver a month. Growth includes 15 drivers, then R200 each, and Scale includes 30, then R150 each. All prices exclude VAT.
What if our drivers don’t take to the app?
The POD screen follows the steps they already do on paper. Drivers are trained on live loads during deployment, with dispatch and finance alongside them. Tell us how your drivers work today and we plan the rollout around them.
